AWARD: First Prize in the Competition.

In order to give to the fruit market a new centrality it was necessary that the project considered the existing spaces amplifying the quality of them, with an operation that respected the history of the place as such as the inner potential of a complete re-edification.

The project utilises the market recuperating the structures of the central body. The portion looking at the mountains is demolished in order to give space to the new volumes necessary for the settlement of new Sport pavilions.

A radical variation of the topographic conditions of the site, with a building that transforms the surrounding tectonic trough a green cover, enhances the permeability and the communications of the neighbourhood.
